  The game typically consists of 5 rounds. Each player is dealt 13 cards per round and then makes a bid between 1 and 8 based on their hand. The bidding phase begins with the player to the dealer’s right and proceeds counterclockwise. Each trick is won by the player who leads with the highest-ranking card; if a trump (spade) is led, the trick is won by the highest-ranking trump. The key to the game lies in “breaking your opponents’ bids.” You must not only strive to fulfill your own bid but also disrupt the bidding plans of other players. When a player wins a number of tricks equal to or greater than their bid, they earn points equal to their bid, plus 0.1 points for each additional trick won; if the number of tricks won is less than the bid, points are deducted accordingly.
